Japan is moving toward political stability anchored by a February snap election victory in the House of Representatives, the new government seeks to positively impact their economy through structural economic reforms. Japan should benefit from better-than-appreciated economic fundamentals; economic tailwinds include a steepening yield curve and rising investment against a backdrop of reasonable debt-servicing levels.
