Kununu (Europe’s largest employer-rating platform) and Freundin (a German women’s magazine) ranked Grüner Fisher Investments among their most family-friendly employers in Germany and Austria. They judged companies based on employees' anonymous reviews of work-life balance, career education and benefits. Grüner Fisher Investments ranked #11 in the list of the 626 most family-friendly companies in the region.

Kununu (Europe’s largest employer-rating platform) and Freundin (a German women’s magazine) reviewed more than 2 million online reviews of over 200,000 companies to determine their list of the most family-friendly companies in Germany and Austria. They asked employees to rate their employers according to family friendliness. Employees were able to rate their employers anonymously, with a special focus on the following family-friendliness categories: superior behavior, work-life balance, equal rights, career education, salary and benefits and dealing with colleagues over age 45. In order to qualify for ranking, companies have to offer the following benefits: flexible working hours, home office, childcare and company pension schemes. For the third year in a row, Grüner Fisher Investments (GFI) received the prestigious Top Company Award from kununu, one of the leading European platforms for employer evaluation. Employees and candidates can rate their company on kununu in terms of working atmosphere, culture, communication and various social aspects. Only 5 percent of the companies listed on kununu meet the criteria to qualify for this award. 

To be considered for a kununu “Top Company” recognition, a company must have at least seven reviews from employees on the kununu platform. The employer must have an average employee rating score for the past twelve months must be at least 3.8 stars. There must also be at least two new reviews in the last 12 months. In 2020, Grüner Fisher Investments has been named “Top Mittelstand* Employer” by Focus-Business magazine in a survey based on data from kununu, an employer ratings platform. “We are very proud of our fourth-place finish in the “Finance” sector. More than 950,000 companies and more than four million employee reviews were analyzed on kununu, an internet platform. The survey rated the top German Mittelstand employers in Germany. In 2023, Grüner Fisher Investments (GFI) was named a “Customer Favorite” by Focus Magazine and the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF). This is the first year Grüner Fisher Investments was recognized. Approximately 20,000 brands and companies from over 200 industries were considered for this award, and 1,800 companies made the list.

The study’s data was collected via “social listening.” First, text containing pre-defined search terms were downloaded from the internet. Topics included were price, service and quality. Next, the text was analyzed by topic and tone. All mentions were deemed positive, neutral or negative.

The study considered two factors to calculate the overall score: each mention’s tone (the difference between positive and negative mentions divided by the total number of mentions), and the reach (number of total mentions in relation to each industry’s average). Around 1.8 million mentions, 1.3 million emojis and 455 million likes were evaluated from February 2022 to January 2023. Companies or brands that achieved at least 50 points in the overall rating received an award. A total of 1,800 companies and brands received awards. In 2023, Grüner Fisher Investments (GFI) received the highest grade possible (“Excellent”) in the Private Banking Test by Gesellschaft für Qualitätsprüfung—an independent company for quality measurement at financial service providers. This is the third time GFI received this recognition. This award focuses on the customer experience at first contact, as well as the holistic quality of the advice. A total of 169 independent asset managers in German-speaking Europe were evaluated in the test.

To evaluate each asset manager, a representative from Gesellschaft für Qualitätsprüfung posed as a prospect seeking an offer for a long-term asset management mandate. The evaluation consisted of three steps: a digital check (20% of the total score), an introductory interview (30% of the total score), and a second follow up interview (50% of the total score). The goal of the first interview was to get familiar with the asset manager and receive an appropriate asset management recommendation. For the second interview, the focus was on the question of how the providers actually implemented the test customer's specifications. Business and Finance recognized Fisher Investments Ireland at the 2023 Financial Services (FS) Dublin Awards as the winner of the Employee Experience award—which identifies companies that foster a positive work environment and relationship with its employees. The FS Awards recognize excellence in financial services.

The FS Dublin Employee Experience award judged candidates by how they value and prioritize employee experience, with demonstrable evidence thereof. Judges looked for a company which fostered a positive work environment and relationship with its employees. Grüner Fisher Investments (GFI) was awarded the title “Outstanding Asset Management” by Focus Money and ntv in the 2023 Asset Management Test. Grüner Fisher Investments was also awarded this title in 2018 and 2021. This is the third time GFI has received this recognition.

The Institute for Wealth Creation (IVA) on behalf of FOCUS-MONEY and the news channel n-tv sent representatives to asset management companies and acted as prospects (“secret shoppers”). After meeting with asset managers, the secret shoppers filled out a questionnaire about their experience. Asset managers were judged on criteria such as portfolio structure, customer orientation, transparency and cost. The “secret shoppers” then awarded points to each firm and determined a fixed score for each assessment dimension. The Institute for Management and Economic Research conducted the study which contained 100 million online mentions across 19,000 companies and brands between September 1st 2021 through August 31st, 2023. The “social listening” study applied weightings to both price and overall impressions of the online reputation. Grüner Fisher Investments (GFI) was named one of “Germany’s 2023 Most Recommended Asset Managers” by the F.A.Z.-Institut, a prominent German-based publishing group. The F.A.Z Institut recognizes companies who score the highest in their social listening study across eight dimensions. This is the fifth time GFI has been awarded this recognition.

To determine winners, the F.A.Z. Institut gathered and evaluated social listening data related to cost, performance, client service, quality, client satisfaction, and client recommendations. Over 630,000 data points were identified and assigned to the approximately 430 companies from September 1st, 2022 to August 31, 2023. The weighted scores are then combined into an overall score for each company. Companies with a score of 60 are awarded the title of “Germany’s Most Recommended Asset Manager”.
