David’s career has spanned 25 years in the financial services industry including RBC Dominion Securities and three other national firms serving clients as an investment advisor, branch manager, and portfolio manager managing a top performing pooled fund during the 2008 financial crisis.
During his career he has earned the credentials of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Derivatives Market Specialist (DMS) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), and achieved Chairman’s Club status three out of four years.
He is also an Ordained Minister with Third Day Fellowship of Canada, has served with a number of ministries in Western Canada, and completed his formal education at Grant MacEwan College where he studied Music – Composition.
In his spare time David enjoys camping, guitar, and travel to world archaeological and cultural destinations. David lives happily with his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons in their Edmonton area.
He currently serves as Regional Vice-President with Fisher Investments in Alberta.
