Simple, Straightforward Fee Structure

At Fisher Investments UK, we believe fees should be simple, straightforward and free of unexpected charges. At Fisher Investments, your fee is based on the value of the assets managed for you, plus an initial funding fee. Fisher Investments UK charges an initial adviser charge, levied only when you fund an account to be managed by Fisher Investments. Clients who use Fisher Investments UK’s financial planning services after the initial advice will pay fees based on usage, in accordance with our standard fee schedule.

  • Aligned with Your Interests: Fisher Investments is a fee-only investment manager; this helps align our interests with yours. In other words, we do better when you do better.
  • Competitive: We believe our fees are often lower than many other financial professionals’ fees, particularly when you consider the commissions, layered fees, kickbacks and other “add-on” fees that are rife in our industry.

Questions To Ask Your Financial Professional

At Fisher Investments UK, we understand the issues fees raise. So it’s important to make sure you understand them and whether your financial professional’s incentives are aligned with your own. Your financial professional’s compensation can create hidden conflicts of interest. For example, some earn commissions on products they sell, in addition to collecting management fees. Others base certain fees on performance, which can encourage chasing short-term returns and hinder risk management.

When considering professional money management, here are some questions you can ask to learn more about the fees you might pay:

  • How are your fees structured?

  • What other compensation do you receive besides what I pay you directly? Do you collect commissions or other incentives?

  • Will you use mutual funds or other investment products in my portfolio? What fees will I pay for these?
