Moving your life’s savings can be overwhelming—we understand. You’ve placed a great amount of trust in our hands by giving us the opportunity to manage your money. We want to make sure the onboarding process is as easy and straightforward as possible.
Joining the Fisher Family
Once you’ve decided Fisher Investments is the right choice for your retirement, we’ll use a hands-on approach to setting up your account. We will manage the operations, reduce the amount of paperwork you need to fill out wherever possible and keep in open and frequent communication with you. Early on, the Regional Vice President you’ve been working with will connect you with your Investment Counselor, who will become your dedicated point of contact during your years as a client.
In your first conversation with your Investment Counselor, he or she will get to know you personally to understand your life—your retirement goals, aspirations, living expenses, savings and any other financial obligations as well as personal factors such as your health and hobbies. With a thorough understanding of your personal situation, we can begin tailoring an investing strategy just for you.
Your Tailored Portfolio Recommendation
From there, your Investment Counselor will work with our Portfolio Evaluation Group, who will provide a portfolio recommendation tailored to your needs. You’ll learn exactly how we plan to manage your hard-earned money and how our plan accommodates for the income needs you and your family will need. Only when you’re comfortable with your personalized strategy will we move forward with setting up your Fisher-managed portfolio.
After your portfolio is set up and you are fully on-boarded as a client, your Investment Counselor will continually keep you up to date on your portfolio and Fisher Investments’ views on the global stock market. Your Investment Counselor is dedicated to providing you excellent service. He or she will check in regularly to see if we’re on track to meet your retirement goals—and to see if any life events have changed those goals. If anything in your personal situation changes, your Investment Counselor will help you make sure your Fisher portfolio is still on track to provide you what you need. You can also call your Investment Counselor at any time with any questions or concerns about your portfolio. Feel free to speak with them as long as you need—or want!
Whether you’re new to Fisher or a long-term client, we’re here as your partner in retirement. Leverage our investing expertise, so you can spend more time enjoying your retirement instead of worrying about how you’ll pay for it.
