Mitchell Wonboy is passionate about leveraging his capital market background to help individual investors review their current investment strategy and determine whether Fisher Investments might be a good fit.
He began his career in 1996 working on the Chicago Board of Trade. Ultimately, joining JP Morgan in 1997, working within the private bank structured note solutions team. In 1999 he then moved to lead the private banking taxable fixed income trading desk focusing on US Treasuries, agencies, and corporate bonds. In 2003, Mr. Wonboy joined the UBS investment banking institutional fixed income derivative trading desk focusing on distribution. At UBS, Mr. Wonboy provided fixed income derivative solutions and opportunistic trading strategies, including both interest rates and credit derivatives to a multifaceted client base.
In 2011 Mr. Wonboy rejoined the JP Morgan Private Bank as a senior investment advisor.
Mitch previously served on the board of directors of the Wayne State University Foundation, a university endowment. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996 and enjoys spending time with his family.
